Connecting with Your Loved One in Our Care

Your support is critical to the recovery and well-being of your loved one in treatment at Denver Springs. Our patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, patient care assistants, and our medical staff. With the approval of your loved one and the Care Team, we welcome you to participate in our family-oriented treatment plan.

Please read the following requirements PRIOR to visiting:

Visitation

Visitors must be on the approved visitor list that is completed at assessment AND have the patient ID number (provided during assessment). Please bring a photo ID that will be left with our front desk staff until the visit is over. Wear visitor badge at all times. 

Only two visitors allowed per patient for visitation at a time. You may switch out after 30 minutes to accommodate approved visitors. No children under the age of 18 can be left unsupervised in lobby.

Please arrive 20–30 minutes before scheduled visitation time to check in and secure your belongings. Complete Illness Addendum. No items may be brought to visitation area including keys, phones, wallets, games, etc. Please keep all belongings left in lockers provided in lobby or left in your vehicle. All visitors will be searched with a magnetic wand. No outside food or drink is allowed. 

Info Needed For Visitation: 

• Patient’s Name, ID Number, and Unit Name
• Must be on listed on the patient’s approved visitor list 
• Register for visitation (each visit)

Visitation times are listed on the schedule below. A patient’s ability to receive phone calls is dependent on their schedule and phone availability. Please leave your full name, along with the patient code when leaving a voicemail. Messages will be delivered to the patient as soon as possible. 

NOTICE: It is at the discretion of our patients to allow or deny access to information regarding their stay at Denver Springs. We ask you to please respect their safety and privacy.

Patient belongings

The following items are permitted:

• All current medications (including OTC meds and inhalers).
• Five sets of clothing/underwear/socks
  • No drawstrings, shoestrings or other ties
  • Washers and dryers are available on the unit for washing clothes
• Nightwear/pajamas
• Sweater or jacket 
• A small amount of jewelry
  • Wedding bands, small post earrings, and a necklace
• Only unopened cigarette packs

Denver Springs is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
